Maintaining Artistic Vision - Rick Rubin

Rick is really inspiring from the Shangri-La mini series to his book The Creative Act: A Way of Being. His message around looking inward and trusting your personal truth is difficult to maintain. There are so many distractions and rabbit holes and avenues of exploration that focus becomes a challenge. However, at the end of the day, I find my best work (stuff I look back on and appreciate the most) comes from that honest place where I remain true to myself. I'm posting this here for myself as a reminder and to take a moment when things begin to spiral.
